Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Training Session March 15, 2008

Join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and Virginia Save Our Streams for an introductory volunteer water quality monitoring training event.

 

What: Learn to assess the water quality of streams and rivers by collecting and identifying the aquatic life, measuring the chemical and physical properties of a stream, and measuring e.coli or the bacteria in a stream.
When: March 15, 2008

9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Lunch will be provided!

Who: Anyone interested in learning about water quality monitoring, streams, watersheds, or your environment.  ring an interest in the environment!
Where: Virginia Western Community College

What to Bring: Lunch is provided!  Waders are not necessary, but may be nice.  Bring a clip board and writing utensil
