PARKING
Parking will be in the Brock Commons Garage. The code for the date of Oct.
29, 2005 will be: 6031# (the pound symbol is part of the access code and
must be pressed on the keypad following the numbers in order for the gate
arm to lift). Attendees should park in the spots marked "VISITORS". There
should be 40 visitor spots in the garage.
From Charlottesville:
Take Route 20 South to U.S. 15 South; follow U.S. 15 South to Farmville;
turn left onto Business 15/460 at stop light (Executive Inn); proceed
several miles into the center of Farmville. (Business 15/460 becomes Third
Street. Stay on this until you get to downtown Farmville). Turn right onto
MAIN Street at stop light. Go two blocks, and turn RIGHT onto REDFORD Street
(opposite McDonald’s). This is the main entrance to the Longwood campus. Go
straight -- the underground parking garage is straight ahead. Punch in the
code so the gate will go up. Parking in the spots marked “Visitor Parking.”

From Danville:
Follow U.S. 58 to South Boston; take Route 304 to U.S. 360/15; continue on
U.S. 15 North to Farmville; follow signs to Longwood University, turning
LEFT onto REDFORD Street (opposite McDonald’s). This is the main entrance to
the Longwood campus. Go straight -- the underground parking garage is
straight ahead. Punch in the code so the gate will go up. Parking in the

From Hampton/Newport News:
Take I-64 West to I-95 South, turn onto the downtown expressway (Route 195);
take the expressway to the Powhite Parkway (Route 76); take Powhite Parkway
to Route 288 (Chesterfield/Amelia), follow Route 288, exit onto U.S. 360
West. Take 360 West approximately 35 miles to State Route 307, take Route
307 for 9 miles to U.S. 460 West. Exit 460 at the second Farmville exit
(Business U.S. 15 North), follow the signs to Longwood, turning LEFT onto
REDFORD Street (opposite McDonald’s). This is the main entrance to the
Longwood campus. Go straight -- the underground parking garage is straight
